It’s not a radio station, but a channel for hope. Hope107.5 is a way that you can get involved in changing the world through the global radio broadcasts of CBH. For just $107.50, you can sponsor three hours of hope in 8 languages around the world. We don’t ask for any money on the air during these broadcasts because we don’t want to dilute the message of Christ by talking about money. That means we need you, more than ever, to join us in making these programs possible. Here are some ways other people around the country have joined our Hope107.5 team:
Vacation Bible School – Fill up as many clocks as you can! 3 hours at a time for every $107.50 the kids can bring in! Alternatively, put up a map and fill up the map with areas of the world touched by each language broadcast! Roughly $14 sponsors a different language for 3 hours – fill the whole map by getting $107.50!
Clubs/Bible Studies – Try to sponsor an hour of radio ministry for every hour you meet. So if you meet once a week for an hour, try to raise $107.50 every 3 weeks. For a lot of groups, that’s only $5-$10 a person. That way every time you meet you’re spreading the gospel together for that hour as well!
Anniversaries, Birthdays, Special Honors – Many people sponsor an entire 24 hours of Hope107.5 for $860 as a way to honor a special day in their lives. It’s a great way to celebrate a wedding anniversary, the birthday of that relative for whom you never quite know what to buy, or even honor the memory of a loved one who has passed away.
Church Radio Sunday – Many churches give $107.50 to account for a specific church service and then call the service “Radio Ministry Sunday (or Wednesday or whichever day you choose!)” On that day the service can be mission focused, the church can show any of the free ministry update videos CBH produces each month, and the entire church can be inspired by the work they’ve done that morning to sponsor Hope around the world that morning.
Small Group Refreshment Fasting – Many Small Group Bible Studies spend a lot of money on refreshments each month for their members. One idea we’ve heard is to give up refreshments as a sacrifice for a few meetings and use the money saved as a way to touch the world through Hope107.5. It helps the group touch the world, understand fasting, and maybe even focus better because their hands aren’t covered in that chocolate frosting from those brownies you made.
Families Eating Out – If your family eats out twice a week, consider staying in one week and giving the saved money to sponsor 3 hours of radio around the world. Teach your kids good lessons about how big the world is and how they can help. Just be sure you take them to their favorite place the next week!
